Nick Hartman

Nick grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, in a home where the gospel was part of everyday life. Baptized at age eight, he spent his childhood and teen years deepening his love for Christ and His church. While in college he sensed a clear call to vocational ministry, leading him to serve students first in Missouri, then in Cross Plains, Tennessee, and now in Clarksville. He earned his M.Div. from Gateway Seminary in 2024.

Beyond local-church ministry, Nick writes regularly for Baptist Press, YM360, Knowing Jesus Ministries, and Youth Pastor Theologian, whom recently released his Ten Commandments curriculum. His heart for student ministry is to help people begin a lifelong faith in Christ that takes root during the teenage years.

Nick met his wife, Haley, in college, and they married in June 2019. Together, they’ve built a life that strives to glorify God and enjoy him forever. They are blessed to be raising Everette (born June 2022) and Arbor (born July 2024), whose curiosity and laughter brighten each day. Together, the family enjoys visiting new coffee shops, catching an occasional hockey game, and welcoming friends to their table. Haley and Nick love supporting new moms and dads in practical and encouraging ways. Nick is also an avid fan of the Kansas Royals, Chiefs, the St. Louis Blues, and Tennessee Vols and loves a good cup of coffee.
