Dave loves helping people discover the grace of Jesus and grow in their faith. He often states that he was born into a home where his dad deeply loved Jesus—and the Chicago Cubs—so from an early age he learned about the love and grace of Christ, how to trust Jesus with his life, and how to be a gracious (and patient) loser.

Before coming to Real Life, Dave served both nationally and internationally with a para-church ministry and has spent many years serving the local church in a variety of pastoral roles. His ministry journey has taken him to churches in Texas, Arkansas, and North Carolina before God led him to Real Life.

Dave grew up in the Chicago area before moving to Texas, where he met and married the love of his life, Leslie. Together they have three grown children and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren with another on the way.

In his free time, Dave and Leslie enjoy cheering on the Chicago Cubs, sharing good food, playing games with friends, and making meaningful memories with their family.
