- Pastor Freddy T shared a story about the importance of being part of something bigger than himself when worshipping through giving. When was a time in your life that you remember the impact of giving on your worship experience?
- Among the principle ideas of the sermon is the idea that sacrificially loving comes from being sacrificially loved. When / how were you loved sacrificially and how does that influence show up in your life now?
- In Mark 12:41, the Scripture reminds us that often those who seemingly have the least to give are those who also make the greatest sacrifice. When was the last time you can say with certainty you made a sacrificial choice for your faith?
- Pastor Freddy T posed the question, “Is there love of God springing up from our family resources when you look at your family budget?” Where is there evidence of the love of God in your family budget and resources (financial and otherwise)? In what way do you know you could choose to sacrifice more and what is keeping you from that choice?

- How often have you made a discussion about finances as they relate to your faith a purposeful conversation with a friend, partner, or mentor? Why (or why not), and what could you do to explore the topic in a future conversation?
- Is there a point in your past that you believe inhibits your ability to give generously today? Have you started to address this issue yet, and if not, what step can you take to begin to resolve this sticking point from your past this week?
- How can you aggressively pursue an agreement between your spiritual intent and financial obedience? How does it look different from the last week, month, or year?
- We are challenged to say yes to whatever step the Lord is calling you toward today. How are you being called by the Father to be compliant and committed today and every day going forward?

- Father, we know that as humans our sinful hearts are prone to selfishness. Help us see our daily lives this week with fresh eyes and hearts willing to learn new ways to sacrifice.
